Visitors from Pierce College 2006,12,06, Wednesday author : terry Every year, we have visitors from our affiliated schools at different times of the year. We had two visitors, Ms. Mary Meulblock and Mr. Bill McMeekin on November 30. They are from Pierce College, which is located in the state of Washington. They introduced the college to our students. The students asked a lot of questions and the visitors were impressed by the students' ability to speak English so well. This was their first visit to Osaka; actually it was the first time for Mr. McMeekin and the second time for Ms. Meulblock to visit Japan. We took them to a Japanese restaurant for dinner. In the pictures they are trying sliced sea cucumbers, of course for the first time. Their first reaction was "very crunchy." However they stopped eating them after a few bites.
